In Support of The Nation's Cyber and Information Security Agenda
Cyber Security Indonesia (CSI) was established to support the nation's cyber and information security agenda. Through its conference and exhibition series, CSI brought together government agencies, industry leaders, cybersecurity professionals, and technology providers to address the most pressing digital security challenges facing Indonesia and the wider region.
The event series served as a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration — aligning with national priorities to strengthen cyber resilience across critical infrastructure, government services, and the private sector.
Mission & Objectives
CSI's core mission was to advance Indonesia's cybersecurity posture by fostering public-private partnerships and promoting best practices in information security. Key objectives included:
- Raising awareness of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting Indonesian organisations.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer between international experts and local practitioners.
- Showcasing innovative cybersecurity technologies and solutions through exhibitions and live demonstrations.
- Supporting workforce development through the free-to-attend Technology Seminar Series.
- Encouraging business collaboration via the Business Matchmaking Program.
Event Series
The CSI conference series included multiple iterations, with CSI 2019 held from 6–8 November 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center. An earlier edition, CSI 2017, was officially inaugurated on 5 December 2018. Each edition built on the previous, expanding its programme and attracting a growing community of stakeholders committed to a cyber-secured Indonesia.
The 7th International Conference on Cyber and IT Service Management ran as part of the programme, bringing academic and industry perspectives together under one roof.
